In the afternoon, the adventure leads north through the charming town of Ouazzane and into the Rif Mountains, where you’ll arrive in the enchanting blue hued city of Chefchaouen. Famed for its dreamlike alleyways and sky colored walls, this mountain gem promises a peaceful overnight stay in a welcoming hotel.

After breakfast, take time to lose yourself in the dreamy blue alleyways of Chefchaouen, where every corner feels like a painting come to life. Later, we set off toward the ancient Roman city of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its remarkably preserved ruins, scattered mosaics, grand pillars, and timeless archways that whisper stories of centuries past. 

Next, we travel a short 30-kilometer journey to Meknes, the grand imperial city that was once the seat of Sultan Moulay Ismail’s reign. Admire the impressive Bab Al Mansour gate, wander through the tranquil Sahrij Souani basin, discover the expansive Royal Stables and historic granaries, and pay a visit to the mausoleum of the influential sultan. 

As the day winds down, we continue our journey to the spiritual and cultural heart of Morocco Fes where a peaceful overnight stay in a traditional riad awaits.

Today is dedicated to exploring the treasures of Fes, a key imperial city and the cultural and spiritual center of Morocco. With a knowledgeable local guide, your journey begins at the majestic Royal Palace gate, followed by a deep dive into the city's crown jewel the medieval Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. 

Enter through the iconic Blue Gate (Bab Boujloud), stepping into a maze of narrow, bustling alleyways rich in history. Inside, explore the intricate Medrasa Bouanania, the historic Najjarine fountain, and the famed leather Tanneries, where age old traditions are still alive. 

You'll also visit the Quaraouin Mosque and University, recognized as the world’s oldest functioning university. After enjoing this ancient world, you’ll explore the Jewish quarter, or Mellah, before driving up to an old fortress offering a panoramic view over the rooftops of Fes.

After breakfast, your adventure south begins as we pass through Imouzzer on the way to Ifrane, often called the Switzerland of Morocco for its snow capped winters and charming alpine style houses. Then, we venture into the tranquil cedar forests.

Where lively Barbary macaques roam freely don’t hesitate to offer them a treat as you wander through this peaceful natural haven.Continuing on, we stop for lunch in the quiet town of Midelt before heading deeper into the south. 

The route takes us through the dramatic Tizi n Tilghmt Pass and along the lush Ziz Valley, with plenty of scenic stops to soak in the views. By late afternoon, we arrive in the magical Sahara desert of Merzouga.

Here, you’ll trade your vehicle for a camel and ride across the golden dunes, pausing atop one for a breathtaking sunset. Your day ends at a luxury desert camp an enchanting blend of traditional Berber spirit and hotel like comfort. Enjoy a delicious dinner under a blanket of stars.

Our drive then takes us through the lush palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad before reaching the stunning Todra Gorges a dramatic red canyon carved by the Todra River and a hotspot for rock climbers. Take your time wandering these majestic cliffs and soaking in the spectacular views. 

After a relaxing lunch at a nearby restaurant, we proceed to the scenic Dades Valley via Boumalne Dades, stopping to admire the famous “monkey fingers” rock formation and a viewpoint overlooking the valley. The day ends with a cozy dinner and overnight stay at a comfortable hotel.
