Marrakech is the most popular starting point for a desert trip in Morocco. From the red city, the road crosses the High Atlas by the Tizi n'Tichka pass, passes the ksar of Ait Ben Haddou and follows the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs to the Dades and Todra gorges. Zagora can be reached in one day, while the high dunes of Merzouga need at least three days. For a first taste of the Sahara choose the 3 days tour to Merzouga; if you have more time, the 4 and 5 day trips add a second night in the dunes and shorter driving days. All our tours are private: the 4x4 or minivan and the driver are only for you, and we can change the itinerary as you wish.
