Morning visit of the Hassan II Mosque, then an hour north along the coast to Rabat, the elegant capital. See the Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and walk through the whitewashed lanes of the Kasbah of the Udayas above the river mouth.
Leave the coast for the green hills of the Rif. Arrive in Chefchaouen in the afternoon and climb to the Spanish Mosque to see the blue town glow at sunset.
A last morning walk in Chefchaouen, then a drive through olive groves and wheat fields to Fes, the spiritual capital of Morocco. Check in at your riad and enjoy a first look at the medina from a rooftop terrace.
With an official local guide, enter Fes el Bali, the largest car-free medina in the world: the Bou Inania and Attarine madrasas, the Al Quaraouiyine university, the Chouara tanneries seen from the terraces and the artisans' souks of copper, leather and pottery. Free evening.
Cross the Middle Atlas via Ifrane, the 'Switzerland of Morocco', and the cedar forest of Azrou with its Barbary macaques. After lunch in Midelt, descend through the Ziz Valley and its endless palm groves to Merzouga, where camels take you over the dunes to your camp for dinner and a night under the stars.
Wake up early for sunrise over the dunes and ride back to Merzouga for breakfast. Visit the market town of Rissani, cradle of the Alaouite dynasty, then walk in the Todra Gorge near Tinghir before reaching the Dades Valley and its rock formations for the night.
Follow the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs through the Valley of Roses and the palm oasis of Skoura to Ouarzazate. Visit the UNESCO ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, have lunch with a view and cross the High Atlas by the Tizi n'Tichka pass to Marrakech.
Discover the red city with a licensed guide: the Koutoubia mosque, the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs and the Ben Youssef madrasa, then the souks of spices, lanterns and leather. The afternoon is free for the Majorelle Garden or a hammam.
A free day to enjoy Marrakech your way: the Majorelle Garden and the Yves Saint Laurent museum, a cooking class, shopping in the souks or a hammam and massage. Ask us and we will book it for you.
After breakfast your driver takes you to Mohammed V airport in Casablanca in time for your flight. End of our services.
