Itinerary day by day

Day 1 · night in Agadir

Arrival in Agadir

Welcome at Agadir Al Massira airport or your hotel. In the afternoon ride the cable car or drive up to the Kasbah of Agadir Oufella for the view over the bay at sunset.

Day 2 · night in Ouarzazate

Agadir – Taroudant – Taliouine – Ouarzazate

Inland to Taroudant, the 'little Marrakech' surrounded by ochre walls, then over the Anti-Atlas to Taliouine, capital of saffron, where you visit a cooperative. Arrive in Ouarzazate for the night.

Day 3 · night in a desert camp

Ouarzazate – Dades Valley – Tinghir – Merzouga

East along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs: Skoura, the Valley of Roses, the Dades Gorges and the palm grove of Tinghir. In the afternoon cross the stony desert to Merzouga and ride a camel to your camp in the dunes.

Day 4 · night in a desert camp

Merzouga: Khamlia, nomads and Erg Chebbi

A whole day around the great dunes by 4x4: visit a nomad family for tea, listen to Gnawa music in the village of Khamlia, see the seasonal lake of Dayet Srji and the palm grove of Merzouga. Optional sandboarding or quad. Climb a dune for sunset and spend another night at the camp.

Day 5 · night in Dades

Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley

Wake up early for sunrise over the dunes and ride back to Merzouga for breakfast. Visit the market town of Rissani, cradle of the Alaouite dynasty, then walk in the Todra Gorge near Tinghir before reaching the Dades Valley and its rock formations for the night.

Day 6 · night in Agadir

Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Taliouine – Taroudant – Agadir

Back west past Skoura and Ouarzazate, through the saffron fields of Taliouine and the walled town of Taroudant, to the Atlantic in Agadir.

Day 7

Departure from Agadir

Free morning on Agadir beach and transfer to Al Massira airport for your flight. End of our services.
